Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST) located in India is an autonomous institution established under NANO Mission in India in 35 acres of land near to Chandigarh International Airport. Institute of Nano Science and Technology is upported by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.
INST brings together biologists, physicists, chemists, materials scientists and engineers of research interest in nanoscience and technology. INST also promotes science and inculcates the practice to develop technology in India among young generation. INST conducts and associates with National Societal Programmes like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Swasth Bharat, Smart Villages, Smart Cities, supporting the Strategic Sector, Make in India and Clean & Renewable Energy.
The objectives include Resource building, research activity in Nano Science and Nano Technology, Training students in PhD programme, Foster interactions between leading scientists worldwide organizing important national and international level seminars and conferences, Publish scientific papers, Generating patents.
