Karadeniz Technical University is one of the most reputed public research university located in Trabzon, in the Black Sea region of Turkey. Karadeniz Technical University is established in the year 1955 upon the approval put forward by Mustafa Reşit Tarakçıoğlu. After the eight years of foundation various departments like Department of Basic Sciences, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering and Forest Engineering were established and continued to develop with new faculties and departments.
