Hebrew University strives for excellence, and excellence is a way of life there. The best minds in the best investors, are working on doing research and breakthroughs come. The Hebrew University is ranked first in Europe in research grants to young researchers of the EU Council. Israel provided about a third of the competitive research grants to researchers at the Hebrew University. Researchers at the university are responsible for numerous scientific publications in prestigious journals, and research awards were honored in Israel and abroad, including Nobel Prizes, Fields Prize awards in Israel. Most owners are doctorate from the Hebrew University in Israel, and alumni can be found in key positions in academia, public service and business sector. The Hebrew University is one hundred universities in the world. It is attended by 23,000 students from Israel and another 65 countries. The Hebrew University is part of a global network of collaborations in research and teaching and has 150 cooperation agreements in inter-university exchange agreements and 25 students in 14 countries. University faculty training young researchers returning overseas universities of the first rank.
