Saudi Arabia is an Arab state in Western Asia and it is bordered by Iraq and Jordan to the north and south is Yemen, East is United Arab Emirates and south east is Oman. It was founded in 1932 by Ibn Saud. The country officially called as Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Main natural resources are Petroleum, natural gas, iron ore, gold and copper.

The country is categorized as a World Bank high-income economy with a high Human Development Index. Among all the Arab countries, only Saudi Arabia is a part of the G-20 major economies. However, the economy of Saudi Arabia is the least diversified in the Gulf Cooperation Council, requiring any significant service or production sector. The country is encouraging desert agriculture in that 300 billion cubic meter of non- renewable water reserves for free of charge to grow cereals, meat and milk and alfalfa.

In Saudi Arabia, 13 members have received the Nobel prizes in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Physiology and medicine, Literature and Peace. The first Nobel laureate was received in the field of Molecular Biology.
