Spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy is a common resection of the pancreas. Compared to distal
pancreatectomy and splenrctomy Spleen Preserving procedure a limited resection. Recent advances in endoscopic
surgery have resulted in more facilities offering laparoscopies SPDP.
