Ege University

Ege University (Ege Üniversitesi in Turkish) is a state funded college in Izmir, Turkey. It was established in 1955 with the staffs of Medicine and Agriculture. It is the first college to begin courses in Izmir and the fourth oldest college in Turkey. Ege University usually positions near the top among examination colleges in Turkey. By 1982, Ege University was one of the biggest colleges of Turkey with 17 employees, 9 lesser school sort schools and 8 organizations. That same year, a piece of the college was differentiated into another college, Dokuz Eylül University (Dokuz Eylul University). After the division, Ege University had 7 personnel, 3 lesser school sort schools and roughly 9000 understudies. It presently comprises of 12 employees, 7 junior college-type schools (with 4 years of educational program), 7 vocational training schools (with 2 years of educational program), 8 establishments and 26 research centres.
