La Salle University is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. This university was founded in March 1863 by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. This is a private, co-educational, Roman Catholic university. The campus is divided into 3 parts: North, South, and west campus and extends from Logan (upper North Philadelphia section of the city) into Germantown (Northwest Philadelphia section of the city). University is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is led by a Board of Trustees headed by a President and Chairman. The current President is Michael McGinniss. La Salle offers undergraduate, masters degrees and doctorate degrees in several courses of study.
