    Tianjin University of Science and Technology is guided by the spirit of the 18th Party Congress, fully implement the party and the countrys education policy, adhering to the "heavy moral strength, truth-seeking" school motto, adhere to educate people. Tianjin University is a multi-disciplinary university which is mainly composed of engineering, engineering and combination, engineering, management, management, culture, arts and other disciplines. The school is located in Tianjin Xiqing District. Tianjin University Polytechnic name began to recruit undergraduate students, in 1981 by the State Council approved the formal establishment. There are 64 undergraduate majors, 17 masters degree programs, 3 doctoral programs at one level (materials science and engineering, computer science and technology, management science and engineering), and 1 postdoctoral research station Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Electronic Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering and Technology, Control Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science and Technology, Software engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental science and engineering, cyberspace security), focusing on cultivating a discipline.
    Tianjin implement the international strategy. Has been with nearly 30 countries and regions, 101 well-known universities and research institutions to establish friendly and cooperative relations. Successively with the universities of Canada, Japan and other countries to carry out the masters degree and undergraduate level of cooperation in school, and the University of Quebec in Canada to train the first batch of Chinas Master of Project Management (MPM). To carry out "2 +2", "3 +1" and other undergraduate, graduate student exchange project 32 items. In cooperation with the University of Mitchkiewicia in Poland, the University of Mumbai in India and the University of Botswana in Botswana, three Confucius Institutes have been established to collaborate with the University of Warsaw, Warsaw, to establish the Confucius Classroom.
    Tianjin awarded in 2013 in National Science and Technology for the project “Key Techniques and Outfits of Numerical Control Processing Spiral Bevel Gear”. The project belongs to the area of machinery science and technology. The three key techniques in the project are spiral bevel gear numerical control processing model, machine tool structure and accuracy design, and gear testing and modification. The project developed outfits like numerical controlling spiral bevel gear milling machine, gear grinding machine, and tumbling testing machine etc.
