Biography

I received my BS (1999) and PhD (2004) degrees in Physical Chemistry from University of Science and Technology of China, China. I worked as a research associated in the department of Chemistry (2005-2010) of University of British Columbia, Canada. In 2010, I joined Tianjin University as a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Scientific Instrument. In 2011, I was awarded as the New Century Excellent Talent of Ministry of Education, China. I was a joint faculty of Tianjin Key Laboratory of Biomedical Detecting Techniques and Instruments from 2010. I served as the director of Tianjin Key Laboratory of Environmental monitoring Techniques and Instruments from 2016. My research is devoted to the application of optical spectroscopy and microscopy in Biology, Environmental science and Material science. My research area is mainly focused on (1) super-resolution far-field fluorescence microscopy, (2) high throughput Raman microscopy, and (3) chiral phase-sensitive Sum Frequency Generation.
