Biography
Dr. Alberto Meyer received his Medical Doctorate from Catanduva Medical School and completed his internship at the School Hospital Emílio Carlos. He completed a tree year residency in General Surgery at Edmundo Vasconcelos Hospital, São Paulo, Brazil. After that he completed one year training in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery at University of São Paulo, Brazil. Following his residency training, he completed a one year fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at Institut de Chirurgie Laparoscopique (ILS) in Bordeaux, France. In 2013, he completed his PhD in General Surgery at University of São Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Meyer´s clinical interests include Minimally Invasive Surgery and Laparoscopic Techniques with a special interest in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery. He also has a strong interest in Gastrointestinal Surgery, Gastrointestional Cancer and Hernia Surgery.
