Research has included applied research in the agri-food field and renewable energy, in particular for valorization/reuse of agricultural or agro-industrial waste, use of microbial technologies for the production of industrial attractive metabolites in pharma and food sectors, development of innovative analytical approaches based on NIR spectroscopy and HPTLC technique.
