Biography
Gui-Bo Yang graduated from Sichuan University in 1988. He obtained an MS from KIZ, Academia Sinica in 1991 and a PhD from Peking University in 1994. He did post-doctoral work in Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology thereafter and worked in Bristol University, Harvard University, and Tulane University during years 1999 to 2003 as a visiting scholar. He served as an Associate Professor at Beijing Normal University during 1997 to 2001 and has been serving as a Full Professor at National Center for AIDS/STD Control and Prevention of China-CDC since 2004.
