Biography
Professor HS KIM was awarded a Ph.D. in 1997 from the primate research institute, Kyoto University, Japan. Then, he served as post-doc. in Weizmann institute of sciences, Israel in 1998, and Oxford University, UK in 1999. He has been serving as a Professor of Biological Sciences, Pusan National University, Korea, since 1999. He has involved in laboratory research on various primates. Mainly he focuses on comparative genomics, transcriptomics, bioinformatics, retro-virology, mobile genetic elements, phylogeny/evolution, and epigenetics using primate samples. Currently he serves in the board of several scientific journals globally.
