Biography

Dr. Yanbei Zhu has received his PhD in Nagoya University during the period of April 2002 to March 2005. Currently, he is working as a senior research scientist in National Metrology Institute of Japan, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. He has successfully completed his administrative responsibilities as an associate manager of the International Metrology Cooperation Office, July 2013 to June 2015. His research has included development of methods and certified reference materials for the measurement of elements in food and environmental samples, development of devices and methods for solid phase extraction using chelating resins, and development of devices and methods for elemental mapping and quantitation in solid samples using laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Based on these researches, he has authored 50 research articles.
