Zhi Chen
Biography
Dr. Zhi Chen received his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from University of Pittsburgh in 2007. Currently, he is working as a Senior Scientist in the Biologics Molecular and Analytical Development organization in Bristol-Myers Squibb. In this role, he leads formulation analytics and extended characterization for the development of protein therapeutics. Prior to joining BMS, his career spanned Merck, Novartis and legacy Schering-Plough. His research focuses on chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, mass spectroscopy, analytical method and specification development, automation, and process analytical technology. Dr. Chen has been expert reviewers for journals like Analytica Chimica Acta, Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, Electrophoresis, Journal of Separation Science, etc. He has authored more than 20 research articles/reviews/book chapters.

His research focuses on chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, mass spectroscopy, analytical method and specification development, automation, and process analytical technology.
