Isabella Neri

Biography

 Isabella Neri obtained her Degree in Medicine obtained in 1990 and Specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics obtained in 1994, both at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. PhD of Perinatology obtained at the University of Genova in the 1998. Acupuncture degree obtained at the Acupuncture School “CSTNF” of Turin associated to the Federation of Italian School of Acupuncture (FISA). Research Associate of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia from2006. From 2003 she is teacher at the School of Midwifery at the University of Modena. From 1994 she is involved in studies about high-risk pregnancies and in particular she developed the scientific area about L-Arginine-No patway and hypertensive disorders during pregnancy. From 1998 she is involved in studies about the acupuncture application in Obstetrics, in particular breech presentation, hyperemesis gravidarum and labour pain. From 2011 is the chef of the Master “Nonconventional medicine in midwife and nursing sciences” . The main interest areas are: high-risk pregnancies, fetal monitoring, L-Arginine-NO pathway in pregnancy, acupuncture application in obstetrics filed. She is co-author of 105 scientific paper, 44 of them included in the Citation Index system.
