Robert Ylimaki
Biography
Robert Ylimaki is a doctorate from Illinois Institute of Technology in Physics. Presently the Sr. Cyclotron Engineer at IBA. He Lead operations of PET cyclotron facility, designing and building infrastructure to manufacture radiopharmaceuticals under cGMP, while fostering partnerships to launch new drug products through licensing and new drug approvals. Few of his Key Accomplishments are Prototype of cyclotron target and thermo-chromatographic recovery furnace for Iodine-124 and developed manufacturing processes and quality control for [124I]NaI documented in FDA Drug Master File number 19434 and recovered all capital investment within twelve months.
