Dr. Teri N. Kreisl earned her medical degree from Weill Medical College of Cornell University.She was Chief Resident of her neurology program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill.Cornell Medical Center, then completed fellowship subspecialty training in neuro-oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre.Subsequently, Dr. Kreisl joined the Neuro-Oncology Branch (NOB) of the Center for Cancer Research at the National Cancer Institute where she was a Tenure Track Clinical Investigator with a research focus on molecular imaging in brain tumors. Dr. Kreisl also served as Fellowship Director and Medical Director for the NOB.She has experience as Principal Investigator for numerous phase I and II clinical trials for the treatment of primary brain tumors, and will continue similar research efforts with the Division of Neuro-oncology at Columbia University.Primary brain tumors, metastatic disease affecting the central nervous system, lumbar puncture.
