Biography
Dr. Monica Butnariu has received her PhD in Agrochemistry from Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine. Currently, She is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Vegetal Biochemistry in Banat′s University, Romania. She has completed her Postdoctoral studies from University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Timisoara.
Research Interest
- Chemistry and Analytical Biochemistry.
- Research on natural compounds or active principles of plants.
- Heavy metals accumulation mechanisms in plant and the absorption and translocation of different growth compounds by plants.
- Analytical research for quantification of chemical and biological parameters using biomarkers.
