Biography
Dr. Xiaoli Gao received her Ph.D. from Michigan State University in 2009 and she had her post-doctoral training in Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from 2010-2012. Currently she is the technical director of Institutional Mass Spectrometry Laboratory at the University of Texas Health at San Antonio. She has extensive experience in mass spectrometry (MS) based qualitative and quantitative analyses, with particular emphasis on identification and quantification of metabolites and proteins in complex biological matrices.
Research Interest
Dr. Xiaoli Gao’s research interests have focused on global and targeted metabolomics and proteomics in biological samples for studying human health and diseases such as cancer
