Nuhad Yazbik Dumit is an assistant professor and the Coordinator of the Continuing Education and Off-Shore Programs at the School of Nursing, American University of Beirut. She is also the co-director of the Continuing Medical Education Office of the Faculty of Medicine, AUB. He plan and organize continuing education programs/courses/workshops for healthcare professionals, faculty members in health and other disciplines, locally and regionally. She led 2 research projects for the United Nations Population Fund related to linked services of reproductive and sexual health and HIV, and school book content analysis related to SRH.

Research Interest

Nuhad Yazbik Dumit research work mainly addresses the nursing workforce issues such as migration, recruitment, and retention. Other research relate to cardiac illness in adults.

Sickness absence among nurses

6. Where can the journal find the maximum scope in terms of niche?
Translational research, global health and role of nursing, international nursing perspective, nursing across the globe

7. What is your greatest career accomplishment?
I am proud to have mentored several accomplished nurses who are assuming excellent positions. However, I am well accomplished as an educator to nursing students in both undergraduate and graduate programs for which I was awarded nationally and at the university level; as a trainer in leadership and management in nursing for nurses at all levels locally and regionally; as a trainer in teaching effectiveness for both education and continuing education also locally and regionally.

8. How does the published scientific content assist the potential researchers?
It gives them background as to what happened so far, what lessons have been learned, what is missing, and what needs to be done to close the gaps.

9. What is the purpose of serving as an editor?
Personally, it gives me room to keep abreast about what is happening in nursing science at the level of nursing research and investigation; at times it helps getting experience in critically examining write-ups; and builds knowledge in some areas when the editor needs to look up literature to suggest, recommend, and decide.

The Group is meticulous and understanding; it is me that I am short of meeting my obligations such as answering these questions in due time.
