Abstract
High-dose of Vitamin C is safe. High-dose VC has a direct virus killing effect; High-dose VC boosts immunity. VC’s prototypical antioxidant effects in cytokine storm/ ARDS of Covid-19. Studies show VC is able to prevent virus infection, shorten pneumonia, effective in sepsis treatment and shorten sepsis patients ICU stay. Preliminary studies of VC on Covid-19, the Chinese experience. The official endorsement of high-dose IVC for the treatment of Covid-19 by Shanghai and Guangzhou governments. The China high-dose IVC experience is causing a worldwide interest in VC and Covid-19. The dilemma of vaccines: The time from R & D to clinical is too long to play a role in an epidemic like Covid-19 in time.
