Biography

Dr. Lim Jun Wei was conferred with Ph. D. from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in year 2013. Currently, he is serving Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) as Senior Lecturer since early 2015. Embracing himself to the wastewater treatment processes which emphasize on sustainability, bioreactor incorporated with activated sludge system is selected to bioremediate wastewater bearing nitrogen and hazardous wastes. Furthermore, physicochemical treatment processes such as adsorption, advance oxidation, coagulation, etc. have as well become his research interests and are thriving over the years. As energy crisis is foreseen to hit human population in the near future, he has instigated research in biofuel productions via derivation from various renewable feedstock to cushion the insidious impacts. In terms of publications, he has authored more than 20 research articles and book chapters. Last but not least, he is as well a member of IChemE.
