Case Western Reserve University is the one of the nation’s top university. The university was begun in 1826 when Western Reserve College was founded in Hudson, Ohio. The city of Cleveland, Ohio, was on the rise in 20th century. In 1882 the college moved to "uptown" Cleveland with funding from American industrialist Amasa Stone and assumed the name Western Reserve University.
Case Western Reserve University is a private institution that has a total undergraduate enrollment of 4,661, its setting is urban, and the campus size is 500 acres, park-like home of more than 40 cultural, medical, educational, religious, and social service institutions.
