Founded in 1957, the University of Baghdad is the largest university in Iraq and second largest university in Arab. The university comprises of twenty-four scientific and humanitarian colleges, three institutes and nine research centers. Containing 171 fields of specializations, the vision of the university is that- building Man and development of the society are the basis for generations who can build the country. It encourages the unification of the theoretical and practical knowledge. The university education includes learning, doing researches and serving the society. It consists of various campuses which comprises of, Al-Jadriya campus, Bab Al-Muadham campus, Al-Waziriya campus, Abu Ghraib campus and Nahda CrossRoad.
