The University of Gothenburg is a public university which was established in the year 1954. It the third oldest university located in the Sweden’s second largest city Gothenburg. It is one of the largest university among the Nordic countries.
Currently, the university is having more than 25000 full time students with an academic staff of about 3200 and an admin staff of 2000. The university is having eight faculties and 57 departments. The university is also one of the versatile and most wide ranging universities in Sweden.
The university is among the world’s best 150-200 universities. It is among one of the four large international universities in Sweden.
