University of Santo Tomas

The university was established by the efforts of Bishop Miguel de Benavides on April 28, 1611. It is a private, Roman Catholic research university located in Malian, Philippines. In 1927 the university has transferred to Milan from the original campus in Intramurosrd. On 24 May 2011, the National Historical Commission of the Philippines declared The UST Manila campus as a National Historical Landmark. It is one of the world's biggest Catholic colleges as far as enlistment found on one campus.
The college is made out of a few self-ruling resources, universities, schools and foundations, each presenting undergrad, graduate and postgraduate degrees, and the fundamental training units. A few degree programs have been certify by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as Centers of Excellence and Centers of Development.
