Saudi Arabia officially known as Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is located in Western Asia. It is constituting with Arabian peninsula. It is having both Red sea and Persian gulf coast. Saudi Arabia is bordered by Jordan and Iraq to the north, Kuwait to the northeast, Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates to the east, Oman to the southeast, and Yemen to the south.

Geographically Saudi Arabia is geographically the fifth-largest state in Asia and second-largest state in the Arab world. Saudi Arabia's geography is dominated by the Arabian Desert and associated semi-desert and shrubland. Formerly Saudi Arabia consisted of four distinct regions: Hejaz, Najd, and parts of Eastern Arabia (Al-Ahsa) and Southern Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is also called as "the Land of the Two Holy Mosques" in reference to Al-Masjid al-Haram (in Mecca), and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (in Medina), the two holiest places in Islam. Saudi Arabia has an oil-based economy with strong government control over major economic activities. Saudi Arabia possesses 18% of the world's proven petroleum reserves, ranks as the largest exporter of petroleum, and played a leading role in OPEC for many years.Saudi Council for the Specialty of Anaesthesia & Intensive Care is the leading university in Saudi Arabia.
