Biography

I'm pasting a short biosketch which reads as follows: "Since 1998 I’ve been working in paediatric surgery. I’m particularly interested in colorectal surgery, neonatal surgery, and minimally invasive approaches. Since 2011, I have been acting as temporary Professor in Pediatric Surgery. I have a strong background on clinical and basic research. I participated in the development of international diagnostic guidelines for Hirschsprung’s disease in 2005. In 2009 I’ve identified a new syndromic association of Hirschsprung’s disease and congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract. I produced more than 180 publications including 66 papers in peer-reviewed international papers, 27 of which specifically focused on Hirschsprung’s disease."
