Dr. Angela Clifford completed her undergraduate and Masters studies in Psychology at Bangor University. She moved to Loughborough University to complete a PhD investigating lifestyle interventions for Alzheimer’s disease within the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences. She began working in the Centre for Health and Social Care Improvement at the University of Wolverhampton in 2011, and started working on a BUPA Foundation funded project looking at socioeconomic risk factors for dementia within an elderly Chinese cohort. She is currently working on an evaluation of a pilot programme that aims to improve the health and social wellbeing of vulnerable adults, funded by the Burdett Trust for Nursing.
She is particularly intereseted in Prevention of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, Neuropsychological testing, Caregiver experiences and support.
