Fahd Siddiqui obtained his Bachelors of Engineering (2009) from NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi, Pakistan. He started working for the industry as a Reservoir Engineer. After obtaining good exposure to industrial aspect of Petroleum Engineering, he obtained his Masters of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University, US. After which he enrolled in the PhD (2015) program in Petroleum Engineering at Texas Tech University, US. He has three publications to his credit and various talks and presentations given within his area of concentration. Fahd Siddiqui has completed various research projects that have had significant impact. He has also been honored with multiple scholarships in recognition of his contributions. His area of expertise is physical modeling of the fluid flow through porous media and mathematical solutions.
I am deeply interested in formulation of physics behind the flow of fluids through porous media. I want to focus specifically on the application aspect of the resulting solutions. The major areas of interest are: 1. Fundamentals of fluid flow through porous media 2. Pressure Transient Analysis problems 3. Interdisciplinary approach to research 4. Forward modeling and inverse solutions
