Biography

Born in Padova on October 21, 1946. CAREER. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery with full marks and honors from the University of Padua in July 1971. Specialist in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (University of Padua, 1975) and in Medical Toxicology (University of Rome "La Sapienza", 1977 ). Assistant Professor at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" since 1976. Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the IIa University of Rome "Tor Vergata" from 1983 to 1986 and Intensive Care at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" up on the first November 2001. Research Interest

The main lines of research are followed: -l'effetto drug anesthesia on hemodynamics intracranial and systemic; -the aspects coagulation and anesthesia and rianimativo; -some aspects of critical care of patients with hematological malignancies; -some aspects of anesthesia in neurosurgery (controlled hypotension, hemodilution normo- and hyper-volume expansion, prevention of complications of awakening in patients hypothermic).
