Dr.Reiber, Hansotto did his Studies and Diploma in Biochemistry, University Tübingen during 1964 – 1970, He submiited his thesis (Theory of Enzyme Kinetics), Dep. of Prof. Dr. M. Eigen,Max-Planck-Institute of Biophysical Chemistry, Göttingen. Dr. rer.nat. in Physical Chemistry, University Braunschweig in 1971 – 1974. He was a research Fellow, Department of Neurochemistry,
Max Planck-Institute of Experimental Medicine, Göttingen
(Topic: Protein-Lipid Interaction in Myelin) in 1974 – 1978.

Speaker of the “German Society for CSF diagnosis and clinical Neurochemistry” (1992–1996 and 1999–2003)
Profesor invitado del Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas de la Habana Miembro de Honor de Sociedad Cubana de Inmunologia

He was the head of Neurochemistry Laboratory, Dep of Neurology,
University Göttingen (Topic: Cerebrospinal Fluid Diagnosis).
He was Professor for Neurochemistry, University Göttingen during 1988. He retired form University during 1. 4. 2005.

He have won Award by El Pleno de la Academia de Ciencias de Cuba, title of Guest professor (Prof. invitado) in 20016.

He has 190 peer reviewed publications e.g. on CSF analysis in inflammatory diseases, tropical neurological diseases, pediatric neurological diseases and investigations of inflammatory diseases of the eye, also editor and contributions to textbooks.
