Biography

Jean Louis Laplanche was a Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts of Paris (1962) ; at the University Paris VII-Denis Diderot: Lecturer (1969), Director of the teaching and research unit of clinical humanities (1969-1970), Professor (since 1970), Founder and Director of the Centre Research in Psychoanalysis and Psychopathology (since 1970), Professor Emeritus (1989); Secretary (1961) and Director (since 1973) of psychoanalysis library to university Presses of France (PUF), Director of Psychoanalysis magazine in university (since 1975), Vice President (1966-1967) and Chairman (1969 -71) of the Psychoanalytic Association of France; Owner-winemaker at Chateau de Pommard. Works: Hölderlin and father of issue (1961), Vocabulary of Psychoanalysis (in coll., 1967), Life and Death in Psychoanalysis (1970) Issues (7 volumes) (1980-2006), New foundations for psychoanalysis ( 1988), the unfinished Copernican Revolution (1993), Between seduction and inspiration Man (1999), Life and Death in Psychoanalysis (2001), Sexual, Sexuality extended under Freudian 2000-2006 (2007); scientific director of the publication of the complete works of Freud.
