Dr Jennifer Stock, a Research Fellow, is one of just 40 academics to be awarded an Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) grant this year.
The ACU, the oldest international association of universities in the world, set up this fund to mark its centenary. The organisation is offering support to early career academics, and in particular to those who have had limited opportunities to visit other Commonwealth countries for research or professional development purposes.
A member of the university's Faculty of Education and Health, Dr Stock is a specialist in the psychology of ageing. Her expertise also includes attitudes towards ageing, physical activity and cognitive ability in older adults, and dementia.
