Kathryn McDonald

Biography

Dr. Kathryn McDonald is a Senior Research Fellow in Neuropsychology and Functional Brain Imaging at the Neuroscience and Psychiatry Unit, University of Manchester. She did her PhD on neuropsychology of psychiatric disorders with Barbara Sahakian and Trevor Robbins at the University of Cambridge and spent a post-doctoral period at the Welcome Department of Cognitive Neurology in London, working with Raymond Dolan on neuroimaging of emotional processes. Her current research focuses on using functional neuroimaging to investigate the neural basis of motivational processes in both normal subjects and psychiatric patient populations.
