Biography
Dr Martell L. Teasley has received Phd in Social Work at Howard University during the period of May 2002. He is currently working as an Professor and Chair in Department of Social Work. As a professor, his research goals are African American adolescent development and in the fields of social work. Based on this research and training in adolescent socialization and school social work practice, he has received several awards and honors, such as: Gary Lee Shaffer Award, For Academic Contributions to the Field of School Social Work, and is serving one of the active members of the Council on Social Work EducationSociety. He has authored 30research articles, two books and 10 book chapters books/chapters. He/she is a fellow of the Asantian Institute
