Moss Ellen

Biography

Ellen Moss is currently Full Professor of Developmental Psychology at the University of Quebec at Montreal. She received her Ph.D. in Developmental and Educational Psychology at McGill University in 1983 and completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Montreal in 1986. Since 1987, Ellen has been a professor at UQAM in the department of psychology where she teaches courses on child development, family relations, and evaluation and treatment of behaviour problems. She has also been pursuing full-time research on the effects of attachment relationships on cognitive, social and emotional development.

Research Interest

longitudinal studies on the developmental effects of parent-child attachment relationships as well clinical-outcome studies evaluating attachment-based intervention programs with maltreated and other high risk children and their families.
