Dr. Robinson LE have served as the PI on a New Connections grant funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation – Active Living Research. The grant is entitled: “School reform: The role of school and physical education policy on children’s physical activity in Alabama’s Black Belt Region” and a Co-I on an R03 (National Institutes of Child Health and Human Development) that examined the effects of different PE motivational climates on physical activity participation. I recently completed a 2-year Fellowship Program with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute in Behavioral Sleep Medicine (New York University Langone Medical Center) and Cardiovascular Health Disparities (SUNY-Downstate Medical Center). I recently served as a committee member for the National Academics of Sciences Institute of Medicine and currently serve on American Cancer Society – Nutrition and Physical Activity (NuPA) Advisory Committee.
