Biography
Dr. Chris Herndon is an associate professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. Previously, Dr. Herndon served as a senior science and research liaison, analgesia for Johnson & Johnson. Dr. Herndon received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and subsequently completed a specialty residency in geriatrics at the University of New Mexico. He served as an assistant professor at the Texas Tech University School of Pharmacy prior to joining industry. His current practice site is with the St. Louis University/Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation Family Medicine Residency Program at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, Ill. Dr. Herndon’s research interests focus on pain and palliative care.
