Biography

Dr. Ramirez is a dedicated, caring physician who values patient relationships and enjoys being able to provide total women’s healthcare in adolescence, childbearing years and beyond menopause. She completed her undergraduate studies with honors from the University of Miami. She returned to her native Midwest to attend The Chicago Medical School. During her OB rotation she realized that a career in Ob/Gyn was her passion. She did her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. After residency, Dr. Ramirez was in private practice in Miami. She became an advocate for women’s healthcare, feeling that an educated patient is a satisfied patient. Being fluent in Spanish, she became a sought out lecturer and made appearances on Spanish television including Despierta America and the Christina show. The satisfaction of delivering healthy babies, and the challenges of a technologically advancing field, enables Dr. Ramirez to take care of normal and high-risk pregnancies and perform many gynecologic surgeries including advanced laparoscopic procedures.
