South Korea, formally the Republic of Korea, situated in East Asia, which including the southern part of the Korean Peninsula. The name Korea is gotten from the ancient Kingdom of Goguryeo, otherwise called Kory?. The main nation with an area bordered to South Korea is North Korea, lying to the north with 238 kilometres of border running along the Korean Demilitarized Zone.
