Biography

Vincent Lavoue, MD, PhD is a Professor and head of Gynecologic surgery department, Rennes Teaching Hospital, France, as of this year. From 2001-2006: he did a Gynecology Internship, Rennes Teaching Hospital, France. From 2006-2009: he did Clinical Fellowship, Rennes Teaching Hospital, France. From 2009-2012: he was PhD Student, Rennes University, France (studied how immunosuppressive microenvironment of ovarian cancer alleviate cytotoxic functions of Vgamma9Vdelta2 T cells). In 2013, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate, X chromosome and Cancer, McGill University, Montreal, Canada (studied how FoxP3 gene expression in ovarian cancer cells correlates with apoptotic response to chemotherapeutic agents). In 2014: he acted as oncologist surgeon in gynecology surgery department (Rennes Teaching Hospital) & breast surgery department (CLCC Eugène Marquis) and researcher in INSERM Oncogenesis, Stress and Signaling lab (France). • Clinical research interest: ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, uterine cervix cancer, breast cancer, and vulvar cancer. Oncologic Surgery. Mini-Invasive Surgery. Elderly female patients surgery. • Basic research interest: ovarian cancer, immunology and tumor microenvironment, molecular oncology.
