Abstract
Ankle arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical technique that offers benefits such as reduced pain and faster recovery for various ankle conditions. It is invaluable for diagnosing and treating impingement syndromes, loose bodies, cartilage defects, and inflammatory conditions. The procedure has demonstrated efficacy in managing ankle impingement, osteochondral lesions, osteoarthritis, fractures, instability, and posterior ankle pathologies. Pearls and pitfalls of the technique are important for optimal outcomes, and patient satisfaction is a key consideration.
