for the period 2013-2025. In its efforts to achieve Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) 4 and 5 Brazil has made substantial progress in reducing child mortality rates over the past 15 years, but continues to struggle with persistent high rates of stillbirths and

neonatal deaths
