Manipal University is a deemed university located in Mnaipal, Karnataka. It has branches in Bangalore, Mangalore, and Dubai, Malaysia. The Manipal University was founded by T. M. A. Pai in 1953. The campus covers 313 acres of land and is centered in the university town of Manipal. The campus is divided into two areas: the healthsciences campus and the engineering campus. The university is compose of the following schools, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Life Science Center, Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal Institute of Technology; to name a few. The university has a chain of six libraries. Manipal University is ranked 5th in higher education review survey.
