Biography

Trevor Dean is a graduate in engineering at the University of London. He has been awarded; 'Edwin Walker Prize' for Best Paper in Manufacturing Technology and Design, IMechE, 1988 'Donald Julius Groen Prize' for Best Paper in Manufacturing Technology, Design and Quality, IMechE, 1991.'David Brown Prize' for Paper Most Relevant to Industry, Drives and Controls Conference, UK, 1996. He is editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Machine Tools and Manufacture, visiting professor at Imperial College London, Dalian University and Central south University China and a member, Editorial Advisory Board, Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering.
