Edward Ayebeng Botchway

Biography

Architect Edward Ayebeng Botchway has been teaching in the Department of Architecture since 2001 and has been an active practicing consultant since 1992. Edward holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Design and the Post-graduate Diploma in Architecture (RIBA PART II Equivalent) awarded in 1989 and 1992 respectively. Edward in addition pursued a Master of Science Degree in Construction Management completing in 2001at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. In the year 2008 running up 2013 he further undertook graduate studies in two new areas being a Master of Business Administration in Finance (KNUST, Kumasi) and a Master of Science in ICT Management (Coventry University, UK). Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in ICT for Management in the area of sustainable ICT Integration Modelling for Construction Project Management for Local Government. As a practicing consultant for private and corporate organizations with the PROJEKT DAVID FOUNDATION, Architect Edward engages in issues of Project Design, Finance and Build. One successful example is supporting the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital to secure financing from the HCP/USAID for the construction of the Surgical Eye Centre of Excellence in Kumasi.
