Shahryar Habibi is an architect, sustainability consultant and researcher with over 6 years of professional experience across Iran, Turkey and most recently in Italy.Shahryar Habibi was an Architectural Technician after high school graduation and graduated in Associate’s Degree in Architecture on 6 October 2001. He began his undergraduate career at Gazi University in Turkey and graduating with an honours degree in Diploma Architecture. He watched the workings of major corporations close up and would like the opportunity to combine his experiences with the theoretical and practical background available in a master’s program in architecture. So, he began graduate career at Istanbul Technical University in 2009 in Environmental Control and Building Technology program and he finished his graduate education (MSc) in architecture with first-class honours degree. After graduation seemed to offer good route to becoming a green building specialist and a building physics specialist. He also has much experience in architectural acoustics design in evaluating concert hall acoustics, techniques in speech acoustics and architectural daylighting design. Shahryar is currently immersed in his PhD thesis research in Technology of Architecture at University of Ferrara in Italy. He has been able to exercise a unique and innovative approach to design of smart and sustainable workplace in the office buildings. He has an extensive research experience in the fields of Floating Buildings, Facades, Passive house concept, Energy Performance and Smart Buildings. Currently, his research covers the fields of methodologies for designing architectural spaces as smart or intelligent spatial systems.
