Hakan Tuzun

Biography

Hakan Tuzun is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. His current work involves the design of rich learning environments, frequently with the aid of technology but also by considering the culture of the learners and the communities they are part of. He received a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana School of Education, Bloomington, IN/USA in the 1998-2004. He is a graduated in Computer Education from Gazi University, Turkey in the 1992-1996, with an immediate post-graduation in Computer Education from Gazi University, Turkey in the 1997-1999 and M. S in Instructional Systems from Indiana University, School of Education Bloomington, IN/USA. He served as an Associate Professor for 7 (years) in Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. As an Assistant Professor, he is a recipient of many awards and grants for her valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of researches like Medical Anthropology, Urban Health, Qualitative Research Methods, Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Health and Health Care, Latina and Women's Health, HIV/AIDS, Primary Care Research, PCMH Practice Facilitation, Scholarly Writing. She is the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and her area of expertise, as a Professor credits her with many publications in national and international journals. She is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through her authorship of many books.
